Stages of development for the mad world.

- Build mad loopy twisted biscuit land with trippy houses and bonkers buildings. aka The world. (almost the encouraged view of people towards those who care of the environment?)

- It will almost be psychedelic as psychedelic is close to psychotic and anything psychotic is mad. This is the mad world or is this the world we live in?

- Build mini ecosystem in the world - just as there is in our world. the comparisons are uncanny. Resources will be placed in the world, representative of the resources in our world.

- Water in a reservoir for example, or a lake as the houses are all quite quintessential.

- Build factory in the middle.

- The factory uses liquid from lake. As we are using natural resources in the real world.

- Factory emits something into the atmosphere such as smoke from its chimneys, poo into the water etc.

- This then settles on the world around it, covering its vibrant colours and lovely environment with a layer of dust/ash/paint/something.

- Everybody realises that it is actually whats going on in the real world and that it needs to stop before our world is ruined like the accelerated example i have created.

- We reach the level of God by creating an all knowing, all powerful peaceful organism that will be able to live forever - ourselves. - sounds stupid but we must have to evolve into god to be able to prosper forever.


Its about the madness of how we use resources and how we think its fine to pollute and we just happily live on. until all the resources are gone, we have stinked the place up and its all ugly. we will be dying in our own waste.

I am looking into using a smoke machine for this as smoke is a fitting thing to emit from a factory. I also  know that they use a liquid to create the smoke. If i dismantle the the smoke machine i will be able to fit it inside the factory and allow it to take the liquid from the lake. Drain of resources.

The smoke machine will leave a small, greasy residue over the landscape. If i want to enhance this effect i should find a way of spreading something else from the factory which will be more apparent such as ash. This could still be achieved by having multiple chimneys emitting different pollutants. sounds kinda familiar that?

Another way i could do it is by coating the whole model with something that would react with the smoke residue before i set it off. When they come in contact with one another it could start some kind of growth or reaction leaving an obvious example of the landscape being affected from the factories which are using up the resources.
